REVIEW - The Amazing Spider-Man: One More Day TPB

Que harías si un ser más querido solo tiene un día para vivir?

Y ud sabe que fue por su culpa, y que ningún doctor le puede ayudar?

Que harías si estas demasiado desesperado que hasta estas dispuesto a vender su alma al diablo? O algo mas que eso?

Que harías si por unos estantes puedes ver como hubiera sido su vida si algo diferente hubiera pasado o si algo no hubiera pasado? O como hubiera sido su futuro?

Pero la pregunta más importante de todos: Que harías si el unico que le pueda ayudar a su ser mas querido es el diablo, pero como recompensa quiere algo más que no sea su alma?

Despues de leer este TPB me quede totalmente sin palabras. Está muy bien desarrollado (J. Michael Straczynski) y los dibujos están fantasticos (Joe Quesada)! La verdad si sigo voy a hechar a perder todas las sorpresas que hay en este conjunto de comics! Te lo recomiendo!

Comics en Costa Rica

En Costa Rica tenemos tiendas enfocados en anime, figuritas, CCGs, RPGs, video juegos, etc. pero nos falta algo para que nuestro país este completo... Eso que es? Una tienda enfocado en comics, pero no solo comics de los Estados Unidos sino manga tambien.

Esta empresa fue creado para los fans de comics, manga y coleccionables. Queremos brindarles el mejor servicio al cliente, los comics más nuevos en el mercado, hasta los comics más viejos!

No solo tenemos comics que salen mes a mes, tenemos Trade Paper Backs (TPBs) y Novelas Graficas (Graphic Novels). Cual es la diferencia? TPBs es un conjunto de X cantidad de comics en un solo libro. Digamos la Muerte de Superman son 7 comics. Una Novela Grafica es un solo comic pero con una gran cantidad de páginas. The Sandman, V for Vendetta, Watchmen.

La registración es gratis, cada semana agregamos nuevos comics y mandamos newsletters informando que de nuevo en la tienda, eventos especiales (no solo de Steve-O's C&C, pero de nuestros afiliados que nos manda información), cambios en nuestros politicas, etc.

In an interview with Comic Book Resources, Grant Morrison explained that what's going to happen to Batman is "so much better than death. People have killed characters in the past but to me, that kind of ends the story! I like to keep the story twisting and turning. So what I am doing is a fate worse than death. Things that no one would expect to happen to these guys at all. This is the end of Bruce Wayne as Batman."

At the 2008 New York Comic Con "Spotlight on Grant Morrison" panel, Morrison talked about "Batman R.I.P." "When we begin to suspect the identity of the villain, I think it's the most, like I said the other day, it's possibly the most shocking Batman revelation in 70 years."

DC Universe #0 shed some light on the potential plot of the series, with a scene between Batman and the Joker written as a prelude to the upcoming storyline. In the sequence, Batman confronts the Joker about the mysterious "Black Glove," a villain who was behind the attempt to kill Batman during Morrison's "International Club of Heroes" arc in Batman #667-669. The Joker, nonchalantly dealing out a "dead man's hand" from a deck of cards, gloatingly taunts Batman regarding his fear of the mystery villain and how the Black Glove intends on destroying him.

Batman R.I.P. will then be followed by a two-part story by Neil Gaiman called "Whatever Happened to the Caped Crusader?" a play on the Superman story "Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow" by Alan Moore, which was also the last story before major changes in the character.
